Currently my work relates to a search for identity by means of sculpture, film and body art. I hold a strong a attachment to my right to self-identification, in parallel with contemporary social and political movements, where the margins refuse to be defined by the center.

I explore my maleness, my blackness, my personality and privilege, in ways that I find constructive in a very material sense. I draw inspiration from the idea of the “self-made-man”.
